Weddings…in 2020

Finally have my first wedding coming up in a week and a half. Just about all my other weddings I was supposed to do we’re moved to next year due to the virus. I have no issues with this as I want all my family, friends, and clients to be healthy. I am stoked that I have been non stop shooting for the last couple months so as I was able to keep my skills up. And it really gave me the ability to learn my new camera that I got, just before the virus hit. Let’s all finish this year off strong and have a great 2021.

My Jersey Project

Shooting models in my jersey was very personal for me. And it was a form of catharsis after the last year that I have had. I originally intended to have just one model pose in my jersey, but with how this year has shaped up, and the thought of many models wearing it, I had to move forward as such. I got the seven initial models to be the base of this project, and over time I will add more. And it was cathartic. And it was a bit petty, but I was never petty in my relationship. I never even called my ex names…until the very end when she finally pushed me to the breaking point and I called everything off. But here I am, doing what I love. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
